Experience the excitement and grandeur of the Tennessee Overhill. Named for the historic Cherokee Towns that rested on the western slopes of the Appalachian Mountains, the Tennessee Overhill offers something for everyone.
Located one hour north of Chattanooga, the Tennessee Overhill offers a variety of experiences from museums to outdoor recreation to shopping. You won’t find high rises or glass and steel buildings in here. Many of the points of interest lie along highways and backroads surrounded by streams, mountains and forests or found in the small towns of McMinn, Monroe and Polk county.
For more information on things to see and do and places to stay contact the Tennessee Overhill Heritage Association.
